Being a doula is the most satisfying work I have ever done.  It encompasses my love of teaching, my maternal instinct, and my knowledge of the human body.  My passion for empowering women in their births grows with each experience.  I have a deep trust in the normal, powerful process of birth. 

I had my three children without intervention but that doesn't mean I don't understand or don't support the need for help when warranted.  I believe all women can achieve the birth of their dreams whether that is a first time unmedicated birth, a VBAC, or all the the in-between scenarios.  I am experienced and confident in all birth settings from a hospital suite, to a birth center, to a home water birth.
